What You'll Do

  • Build and execute North American sales strategy for new machine revenue growth across targeted industrial verticals
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage sales leaders, key account managers, and enterprise-level individual contributors
  • Establish KPI architecture across funnel health, close rates, sales productivity, conversion velocity, and forecast reliability
  • Expand strategic business within sheet metal fabrication, aerospace, automotive, and adjacent manufacturing sectors
  • Direct executive-level customer relationships and global account penetration strategies
  • Oversee complex capital equipment sales cycles from lead origination through negotiation, contract close, and post-sale alignment
  • Partner with engineering, product development, and marketing to align machine offerings with evolving market requirements
  • Own pricing strategy, margin controls, and contract structure governance
    Translate market intelligence, competitive movement, and customer demand data into sales execution decisions
  • Lead order coordination and customer handoff disciplines to ensure forecast accuracy against production commitments
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, technical conferences, and machine tool industry associations

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of capital equipment sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success leading sales managers and enterprise account teams
  • Proven experience in metal fabrication equipment, machine tools, or adjacent industrial capital goods
  • Deep ownership of KPI-driven funnel management, close-rate optimization, and forecast governance
  • Experience with pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and margin accountability
