Cincinnati, OH | Defense Manufacturing | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Day Shift
Compensation: $70,000 – $105,000
Employment: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Our client is a well-established U.S.-based defense manufacturer with over 85 years of engineering and producing mission-critical military and rugged industrial systems. What You'll Do
- Design and optimize Lean manufacturing cells to maximize space, equipment, material, and personnel utilization
- Prepare and maintain detailed process layouts and related equipment documentation
- Lead manufacturing launches for new and revised products — establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating outcomes
- Develop work instructions, visual aids, and assembly documentation for production personnel
- Apply statistical analysis to drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains
- Interface with management, engineering, and cross-functional teams regarding manufacturing capabilities and production schedules
- Represent manufacturing and engineering interests on cross-functional project teams
What You'll Need
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience including process flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen event facilitation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD/process layout tools
- Strong working knowledge of written product specifications and technical documentation
- Experience with ERP systems — SAP strongly preferred
- CNC programming experience is a plus
- Defense or military product manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple product lines simultaneously through the manufacturing process
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
