Electrical Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Ravenna, OH
Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift (2:45 PM – 11:15 PM, M–F) | $2/hour shift premium
Compensation: $27–$37/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in extrusion, mixing, and packaging operations
• Work on motors, drives, circuits, sensors, control panels, and industrial automation systems
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to perform installations, diagnostics, and repairs
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, NFPA 70E) and OSHA standards
• Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage work orders
• Support other facility electrical needs including lighting, IT rooms, and testing areas

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of industrial controls, 3-phase systems, sensors, and safety protocols
• Comfortable reading schematics and operating diagnostic tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
• High school diploma or GED required; formal apprenticeship or Associate's in Electrical Tech preferred
• Familiarity with PLCs and drive systems a plus
