About the Opportunity

A reputable multi-disciplinary design firm is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to support ongoing growth in civil, land development, and infrastructure projects. Youll lead field crews and support the survey team in gathering accurate data critical to the success of high-impact regional work.

What Youll Do

• Lead field survey crew for ALTA, boundary, construction layout, and topographic surveys
• Operate robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors
• Coordinate with office survey staff and engineers for project setup and QA/QC
• Interpret project plans and legal documents
• Ensure proper field documentation and safety protocols
• Maintain equipment and oversee logistics

What Youll Need

• 35+ years of experience in land surveying
• Strong experience with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica survey equipment
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and plats
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions
• Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or desire to pursue licensure is a plus
