About the Opportunity

Structural Engineering Consulting firm, based in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a BIM / CAD Designer who will be responsible for the oversight and development of personnel and the standards used to create construction documents. Qualified candidates will have a good working knowledge of both REVIT and AutoCAD, and should be able to use REVIT as a tool to assist in the development of construction documents. This candidate will be working with complex structures on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM projects, files and models.
• Provide end-user training, support and leadership.
• Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases, maintaining legacy software, and customizing software for specific firm needs.
• Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards.
• Conduct continuing education on BIM processes and its new technologies.
• Support project standards coordination with customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering / CAD Design. Would also consider Architectural Degree with REVIT experience
• 2 years of REVIT drafting + design experience. MUST be able to put a set of drawings together and model
