Mechanical Assembler II (Defense Industry)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Compensation: $19-$21 per hour depending on experience
Start Date: 03/02/2026
Overview
The Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for producing high-quality mechanical assemblies to prescribed standards, with a focus on precision, safety, and continuous improvement. This role supports production operations by executing advanced-level assembly functions while ensuring contractual specifications and delivery schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate assigned machinery within production.
- Perform advanced mechanical assembly, prep, spray application, and inspection functions.
- Install components to detailed contract specifications using hand and power tools.
- Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions, and technical documentation.
- Follow visual and written work instructions within defined production timelines.
- Adhere strictly to quality and safety standards within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Support additional production projects as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to wear required PPE in a production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Experience working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
- Prior experience in regulated or defense-related manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
