Job Title:  Sr Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

A full-service architecture and engineering firm based in Cincinnati, OH, is looking for a Sr Mechanical Engineer with a technical, collaborate, and forward-thinking mindset. This Mechanical Engineer will also have exceptional team management + leadership skills, supervising the mechanical engineering staff and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion
• Oversee design of HVAC systems, energy modeling, specs, calculations, and drawings 
• Conduct and review field surveys, designs and BIM plans for code compliance, regulations, and standardization
• Mentor and supervisor mechanical engineering ream members, providing regular meet-ups / check-ins and an annual performance review.  
• Primary liaison for clients interfacing 
• Attend networking events, industry presentations, client interviews, etc.

Qualifications:  

• 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience (HVAC + Energy)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 
• PE license required 
• Healthcare and/or public sector experience is preferred 
• Experience preparing contracts documents and design coordination on multi-discipline projects
• Strong understanding of building codes
