Physician Assistant Outpatient Neurology

About the Opportunity

An innovative and rapidly growing outpatient neurology practice is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with proven neurology experience to join its multidisciplinary care team. Youll work alongside neurologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, and infusion staff in a high-volume clinic known for delivering comprehensive diagnostic and procedural services.

This is a highly autonomous role where you will have access to cutting-edge tools and a collaborative care environment that prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient experience. Only candidates with prior neurology experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct neurological patient evaluations, follow-ups, and consults in an outpatient setting
  • Manage and interpret diagnostic results including EEG, EMG, NCV, and ambulatory studies
  • Assist with procedural care such as trigger point injections, Botox administration, and infusion coordination
  • Collaborate with neurologists and support teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Document patient encounters and coordinate follow-up plans through EMR systems
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and testing procedures
  • Support efficient clinical workflows and help optimize patient access and scheduling

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certified by the NCCPA and licensed (or license-eligible) in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient neurology experience is required
  • Strong clinical knowledge of neurological conditions and treatment protocols
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient practice
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with team-based care
